System Requirements
Windows
SnapGene 5.1 - 6.0: Windows 7 or later (64-bit only for Intel).
SnapGene 6.1 - 7.0: Windows 10 or later (64-bit only for Intel).
SnapGene is not supported on Windows or Linux built for ARM-based computers.
macOS
SnapGene 5.2.5 or earlier: macOS 10.11 .
SnapGene 5.3 - 6.0: macOS 10.12 or later.
SnapGene 6.1 - 7.0: macOS 10.14 or later.
SnapGene version 6.0 is supported on Apple Macintosh ARM-based computers via macOS Rosetta 2.
SnapGene versions 6.1 and later are natively supported on Apple Macintosh ARM-based computers.
Linux
SnapGene 5.1 - 5.2: Ubuntu 16.04, RedHat 6.6 & 7.2.
Snapgene 5.3 - 6.0: Ubuntu 18.04, RedHat 7.6.
SnapGene 6.1-7.0: Ubuntu 20.04, RedHat 8.4.
